We are seeking a temporary candidate that will work with a team of cross-disciplined engineers developing next-generation undersea sensing, signal processing and system architecture solutions. Tasking will cover the full product development spectrum from concept development, to manufacture, test, and system integration.

You will provide technical expertise to develop new product and mentor junior engineers. You will be responsible for regular team interaction during all phases of development and experience with US Navy Undersea Sensing Systems is required. You will be onsite in our Portsmouth, RI facility.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Experience working with, or for US Navy Labs
  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Extensive experience in the design, manufacturing and test of undersea sensor systems
  • Ph.D. level degree in relevant field
  • Ability to obtain Top Secret security clearance
  • Flexibility to accommodate dynamic work schedule

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

This is a temporary position of an undetermined length.
