Digital Forensic Engineer

Fort Bragg, NC

Contract Position

At Moseley we are supporting the tip of the spear with our roles working directly for the prime on the SOFSA contract. The efforts of our employees are the key to the success of our military’s special operation units across the globe. The prime contractor for executing the largest service contract vehicle, which provides a wide range of tailored contractor logistics support services to the Commands Special Operations Forces (SOF) service components and warfighters worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems.
  • Synthesize customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints.
  • Establish functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem.
  • Review, evaluate and derive requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems.
  • Coordinate subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations.
  • Perform analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance.
  • Write discrepancy reports and perform integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree combined with 10 + years of relevenat work expeirence; or 9 + years of relevant work experience.
  • 10 years of professional experience in Digital Forensics or related field
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Reverse Engineering experience related to analysis or malware
  • Packet and Network Traffic Analysis
  • Memory Forensics Experience
  • Mobile device Forensics Experience
  • Media forensics experience including but not limited to hard drives, solid state drives, mobile devices and virtual machines
  • Python coding and development
  • Desired Skills:
    • C Coding and Development
    • Linux experience
    • VMWare vSphere experience
    • Software testing and technical writing experience
