Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems in Moorestown, NJ is seeking a Systems Engineer Intern for Summer 2024. In this role, you will execute all phases of the systems engineering process including requirements allocation, tracing and authoring; system design and algorithm development; data analysis of simulation and test data; and system integration and test. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Matlab, Python, C++, or similar programming/scripting language. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
- A basic foundation in programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, C++, or similar programming or scripting language.
- Familiarity with UNIX OS and Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with algorithm development, data analysis, or system test.
- Knowledge of Model-Based Engineering, Model-Driven Architecture, and/or Systems Modeling Language (SysML) is a plus.
- Experience with technical documentation, such as system requirements or design requirements
- Experience with agile development methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
