Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Summer 2024 Intern Systems Engineer (Modeling & Simulation). In this role, you will develop Missile Processing Facility Animations, evolve our requirement database utilizing DOORS and develop systems models utilizing CAMEO. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of operational assembly processes, building structures and systems and system modeling software. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:
Working toward Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering degree from an accredited university or college
Knowledge of Simulation and Modeling tools such as CAMEO or Rhapsody or 3DsMax
Willing to Travel
Desired Skills:
Familiar with building construction requirement development and planning
Familiar with Architect and Engineering (A&E) design and review process
Demonstrated execution of implementing construction projects from start to finish
Demonstrated experience creating work products for planning, design, inspection and testing activities.
Demonstrated experience with database development such as Dynamic Oriented-Object Requirements System (DOORS)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
