Systems Engineer

Contract Position

Responsibilities:
- Identify and analyze cyber-attack surfaces, implementing cybersecurity controls on MFC products.
- Perform continuous cybersecurity maintenance, including monitoring, security updates, patching, and system hardening.
- Provide cybersecurity oversight to Systems and Software teams, delivering documentation and artifacts to maintain Authorizations to Operate (ATOs) for MFC products.
- Design and implement embedded System Security Engineering (SSE) processes for DoD weapon systems.
- Assess and mitigate security risks throughout the weapon system development lifecycle.
- Validate and verify system security requirements, analyzing weaknesses and threats to product security.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience, or Masters Degree.
- Active Secret Clearance required.
- 3-5 years of experience in:
- Cybersecurity
- Systems Security
- Systems Analysis & Design
- STIGs and system hardening
- Cyber tools (Ansible, SCC, Nessus/ACAS)
Desired Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in Cybersecurity Engineering and Systems Engineering.
- Experience with systems development and SOP/process creation.
