Description:Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is looking for an Energetic student pursuing an Computer / Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering or similar degree for a 2024 Summer Internship.

The selected candidate will be learning and working with Software and System Engineers supporting the C2BMC or MASC-F program for the Missile Defense Agency.

Some of the duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Work with experienced software and systems engineering professionals to learn system engineering principles on large scale program

• Experience SAFe Agile Development integrated team environment

• Network with Lockheed Martin professionals and other interns
Basic Qualifications:
**Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access**

• Pursuing degree in engineering related field, or similar (such as mathematics with minor in engineering field)

• Must possess good problem solving skills

• Highly Motivated; able to perform team tasks with low direct supervision while utilizing virtual collaboration tools to interact with team
Desired Skills:
• Working knowledge of any Programming language or tools such as JAVA / C / C++
• Experience with Git
• Able to work in a team environment (virtually or in-person)
• Java/C++
• Test Automation interest
• DevSecOps Interest
• Cybersecurity Interest
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
