Calibration Technician II
Kent, WA
Contract Position
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the measurement & test equipment used to build space vehicles and rocket engines are calibrated and cycled on schedule.
- Perform calibration of measurement & test equipment in a metrology lab environment.
- Maintain accuracy of calibrated item inventory & calibration status.
- Utilize 3rd party calibration vendors and oversee the logistics of calibration services.
- Assist manufacturing team with device recall & notification.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in Calibration
- HS Diploma + calibration related technical training
- Familiarity with the operation of measurement and test equipment.
- Comfortable utilizing a computer to maintain, organize & track technical information
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (current Green Card holder)
- Calibration of Measurement and Test Equipment: Phys-D
- DESIRED:
- Calibration of AMS2750 compliant ovens and furnaces Calibration of Accelerometers Calibration of data acquisition and equipment
- Military PMEL or Post-Secondary metrology training
- Experience with industry calibration standards (ANSI NCSL Z540.3, ISO/IEC 17025)
- Experience with industry quality and configuration control system methodologies (AS9100, ISO:9001)
- Experience developing, operating and maintaining calibration systems & procedures
- Experience in customer service
