Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Technician Process Spec to join our mission at our King of Prussia, PA site.

Summary of key duties for this position:

• Mechanical/electrical fabrication of flight and ground support hardware.
• Electronic, mechanical, or electromechanical assembly.
• Perform a variety of hands-on electrical
• Support the engineering function for a fabrication area or processing laboratory by performing experiments and tests.
• Evaluate new processes, products, and/or isolates process problems.
• May design simple experiments and implement, collect results, maintain appropriate logs, and provide oral and/or written reports of results.
• Monitor wafer fabrication, process controls, materials, and supplies. May be required to ensure correct functioning and identify any discrepancies. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
• May advise operators and inform engineers regarding processes, procedures, equipment, and flight vehicle assembly.
Basic Qualifications:
• Mechanical dexterity.
• Proficient in machining, drilling, bonding, polymerics and cable fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and parts lists.
• Ability to pass JSTD-001 certification, SSC JSTD001MAP Solder OPER Certification, SSC NASA Polymerics Operator Certification and SSC NASA Cable/Harness, and Operator Certification.
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:
• JSTD-001 certification.
• Proficient with hand tool precision machining, drilling, fixture usage and bonding.
• Proficiencies with mechanical type fabrication
of avionics boxes, ground support rack
fabrication, CCA fabrication.
• Solid computer skills, competent with MS
Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
• Preferred candidate should be proficient with
VE-CAMS and SAP.
• 2 years experience in the industry.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
