What You Will Be Doing

As a premier systems integrator, Lockheed Martin puts it all together to create an integrated system of systems where the value of the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

As the F35 Integrated Systems Test Engineering Manager, you will lead the Manufacturing Test Engineering (MTE) team responsible for validating F-35 on-board electrical and avionics aircraft systems to engineering requirements prior to flight at the Fort Worth factory. In addition, this position will provide technical support to the Italy & Japan Final Assembly Check Out (FACOs) and provide Production Engineering Enterprise support as needed. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing:
• Development & maintenance of System Checkout Procedures (SCOP) and test processes
• Test equipment design, development, calibration, maintenance and repair
• Test preparation, performance and post-test operations in support of daily production/delivery operations requirements
• Continuous process improvement and providing technical support for root cause & corrective action
• Supporting MTE Digital Transformation (DX) initiatives
Leadership duties include:
• Short & long term personnel and resource planning to support program requirements
• Support customer, program and senior management reviews
• Selection and hiring of staff, including staff development & training
• Performance feedback, evaluations, merit planning, career planning & promotions
• Personnel & hardware safety

This is a full-time on-site position.

A level 5 employee Typically has 14 - 20 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with 5th Generation Aircraft
• Experience leading a team of professional & skilled individuals, interfacing with a diverse team of manufacturing, engineering, quality, &/or customer organizations
• Experience with Business Metrics to drive performance (cost, schedule, quality)
• Organization skills &/or planning/problem-solving expertise
Desired Skills:
• Strong verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills
• Experience and working knowledge of F35 integrated systems, SWIFT operations, test equipment development/procurement/maintenance, test performance, test data assessment, root cause corrective action
• Experience with cyber security requirements and program area controls
• Experience with Project Management, CAM, EVMS
• Experience in developing & presenting program management level briefings
• Strategic Planning / Vision

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
