Our location, Turkey Technology Center (TTC) in Kartal, is one of GE Aerospaces nine engineering centers throughout the world, supporting aviation-related R&D and innovation projects that expand with new investments.

Activities aimed at proving a concept to be valid or technically feasible by the application of scientific and engineering methodologies. Work in this family typically has the objective of demonstrating through test or analyses the performance and implementation potential of a concept

Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Candidates must have solid; thermal dynamics, heat transfer and fluid dynamics background and experience.
  • Evaluation and execution of heat exchanger, turbine component cooling, combustor cooling and thermal system design projects using sound engineering principles and adhere to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.
  • Management & execution of the any business need with prioritizing safety, with excellent quality, on time delivery and with a proper cost.
  • Gas turbine fundamentals knowledge.
  • Documentation of technical data generated by assigned projects consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
  • Hands-on engineering support.
  • Open-minded for new technology, research, science and using all for engineered product.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have solid; thermal dynamics, heat transfer and fluid dynamics background and experience.
  • Masters or PhD. degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 5-10 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
  • At least 5 years of professional experience
