Description:Join Lockheed Martin for a summer internship in Dallas/Grand Prairie, Texas.

Designs, develops and implements industrial machinery and equipment, tools, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, prototype model production and machine attachments required for production or experimental use, considering such factors as accessibility, economy, mobility, and performance requirements. Will use CAD/CAM to design tools.
Basic Qualifications:
Enrolled in a bachelors or masters degree in engineering or associated discipline

Proficient in the use of a CAD Software

Interest in design and fabrication

Must be a US citizen
Desired Skills:
Pro E experience

Knowledge of tool concept and design

Experience with tooling and tool fabrication

Experience in a machine shop/manufacturing environment

Familiarity with GD&T

Prefer mechanical or manufacturing engineering but will consider other related disciplines

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
