In pursuit of further strengthening their presence in the United States market, they are actively seeking a Vice President of MRO & Aircraft Sales. This pivotal role will center on seizing opportunities within the US market by cultivating robust industry relationships and upholding a commitment to unparalleled customer satisfaction

Position Responsibilities

Sales Management

  • Managing the MRO & Aircraft Sales Activities and report on sales pipeline 
  • Developing major MRO & Aircraft Sales strategies, plans and campaigns: 
    • Product Lines 
    • Regions 
    • Customers 
  • Setting MRO & Aircraft Sales KPI’s and working constructively to achieve these goals. 
  • Seek to develop and grow global business opportunities.  
  • Manage allocated budgets in accordance with organizational policies and practices. 
  • Work with Marketing, and other departments to market and promote our MRO products, services, and Aircraft. 
  • Provide strategic business development support to the global MRO Sales team. 
  • Work with EGM – America to set monthly, quarterly, and annual MRO and Aircraft sales targets. 
  • Develop and report on the MRO and Aircraft Sales pipeline for US. 
  • Ensure full compliance with theCRM system. 
  • Provide business development and sales reporting to the EGM – America as required. 

Commercial Performance

  • Be a role model for customer service within the group.
  • Ensure all financial and performance targets are met. 
  • Work with relevant leads to ensure commercial opportunities are identified and scoped to add value to the business.
  • Takes ownership on ensuring the company utilizes best practice technologies that enhances our sales and support effectiveness and efficiencies and provides better customer outcomes.

Safety & Compliance

  • Complying with all the Regulatory frameworks, company expositions and SPIs.
  • Actively identify and ensure that all hazards, incidents, and non-conformances are entered into the Aviation Safety Management System as soon as practicable.
  • Reporting areas of improvement for any work practices or company documentation.
  • Upholding the three Just Culture duties.
  • Creating and maintaining an environment where issues can be raised, and everyone understands their responsibility for themselves and others.
  • Proactively assessing risk before commencing a task or project and taking full responsibility for personal safe working practices while not putting others at risk.
  • Being fit for work and utilizing correct PPE, as and where required.
  • Participating in company training when required.

Other Duties

  • Actively contribute to wider organization projects when required.
  • From time to time the organization may require this role to complete any other duties as required

Job Requirements:
  • 10+ years’ experience in the aviation industry with a strong focus on rotary aircraft. 
  • 5+ years’ experience in the delivery of MRO services, preferably Part 145 Accountable Manager or previous experience as DOM
  • 5+ years and proven success in business development and/or sales experience in aviation. 
  • Strong understanding of global aviation industry
  • Strong industry relationships in the US are required. 
  • Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate and manage key stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to ensure the best outcomes for the business and for customers.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and a sound understanding of complex commercial environments and contracts with a focus on profitability. 
  • Ability to lead and gain confidence of others. 
  • Self-starter and confidence in navigating the unknown. 
  • Highly developed verbal, written and presentation skills.
