What does the role look like?
Were recruiting an exciting Afterspanet Procurement Specialist role based at our HQ in Wolverhampton. Were keen to speak to candidates at a Buyer level or similar level but those who are looking for a role with more strategic element to it. Our team are responsible for the identification and management of the supply chain required to support existing post series production program and new business projects.
Youll be involved in managing bill of materials, identifying strategies to source the best suppliers as well as working cross functionally across a range of stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be an energetic, proactive, analytical, and adaptable. You will be empowered and accountable to drive the business forward, owning and resolving issues, driving improvements forward, whilst communicating progress to stakeholders.
What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?
Liaising with production controllers, buyers, programme managers, Account Managers to enable OTIF of critical programmes through our Afterspanet business.
Involved in supplier selection for optimum ‘right part with right supplier’, leveraging key stakeholders including suppliers and engineering, whilst maintaining Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD).
