Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Summer 2024 Finance Management Intern to support the C6ISR Line of Business Finance and Business Operations Organization. In this role, you will get to understand the role of Financial Analysts as business advisors to other functional areas. Develop proficiency with Sikorsky systems (i.e.Hyperion, SAP, etc.). Understand and utilize continuous improvement tools, Execute and document critical Finance processes. Present summer experience(s) to senior management. Support Group project with other summer interns. The successful candidate must be energetic self starters looking to learn and expand their professional skill set. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, critical-thinking, and business acumen skills. They will exhibit exceptional organizational and communication skills. Must be a US Citizen.
Basic Qualifications:
- Actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Management, or other related discipline from an accredited college/university.
- Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills with
attention to detail and reporting accuracy.
- Ability to apply skills and knowledge to provide sound data driven analysis.
- Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Self Starter
Desired Skills:
- Familiar with Accounting and financial management
- Understanding of balance sheet analysis
- Proficient with tool sets: Horizon/Hyperion,
- Some knowledge of Cobra/Open Plan and SAP
- Proactive, able to develop strategic process
improvements
- Ability to working in a virtual environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
