The Financial Management Program (FMP) is a 2-year rotational program where you can build exceptional corporate finance and business skills to prepare for progressive growth and leadership positions in the company. Here, you will work with the best and brightest in a fast-paced environment with active coaching from leaders who are committed to your development. FMP participants connect with every part of GE Aerospace and offer insight. Looking beyond numbers, you will help find solutions to move our business, and the future of flight, forward.

We are now gathering potential candidates who would be interested in this program for the July 2024 start at our Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace company, facility in Rivalta di Torino.

14th May – Assessment Centre (date may be subject to change)

1st July – Program start


We offer a permanent contract for this role.

Job Description

FMP is a 2-year development program consisting of: 

  • Four 6-month rotational assignments, usually involving at least one relocation within Europe and/or the United States. 

  • Technical Finance courses 

  • Leadership & Personal Development coursework 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Successfully complete assigned tasks and meet evaluation criteria for each rotation.  

  • Participate in team activities across rotational assignments alongside formal classroom studies. 

  • Engage in Finance courses and training sessions as outlined in the program. 

  • Collaborate with teams within the business unit to define requirements, communicate project approaches, and present outcomes. 

  • Demonstrate an understanding of how the work of ones own team integrates with others and contributes to the broader area/business. 

  • Contribute to a diverse range of projects and tasks to enhance technical skills, leadership capabilities, and business acumen. 

  • Operate within a team environment and/or under the guidance of an Assignment Leader. 

  • This role requires strong interpersonal skills, involving communication with colleagues and stakeholders about design and coordination services, as well as the ability to explain technical concepts effectively. 

Required Qualifications

  • Graduated from a Master of Science degrees in Finance, Accounting, Business Studies, Economics, or Mathematics from an accredited University or college;  

  • Up to 2 years post-graduation experience; 

  • Demonstrated Academic excellence; 

  • Demonstrated interest and competency in Finance; 

  • Possess a fundamental grasp of key business drivers, utilizing this knowledge to fulfill job responsibilities; 

  • Curiosity to explore different Finance roles and topics; 

  • Focused: adaptive learner, strategically prioritizes work committed; 

  • Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker; 

  • Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn; 

  • Geographically mobility;

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; 

  • Fluent in English; 

  • Work Visa, in accordance with local regulations, is required. 

Desired Characteristics

  • Previous relevant working experience will be considered as a plus; 

  • Previous study or working experience abroad will be considered as a plus; 

  • Italian fluency will be considered a plus.
