PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

    1. Maintain Fabric Library
    • Order samples and replenish as needed
    • Updates library with new materials
    • Checks status of fabric availability & reserve yardage when required
    • Inventory design supplies
    • Maintain correspondence with vendors and schedule meetings with designers

    2. Fabricate Customer Color Boards including leather, fabrics, metal and stone
    • Label front & back of boards
    • Prepare carpet, veneer and other materials to ship with color boards
    • Inventory materials for white spec aircraft for sale
    • Coordinate with SCD & LIT designers and completion center as needed

    3. Assist with Shipping & Receiving
    • Prepare packages for shipping
    • Opens packages from vendors and file them in library
    • Distributes mail and vendor materials to designers that are associated with customer projects

    4. Assist with Customer Meetings
    • Organization of design studio before and after customer meeting
    • Assist in meetings by gathering materials live as needed, documenting and photographing customer selections
    • Prepare digital presentations as needed to support designers
    • Assist with creation of exterior paint schemes for customer aircraft

    5. Assist with paperwork (CSRs) to the completion center for custom samples and special requests as needed.

    6. Maintain Archive Room of past projects for easy reference

    7. Some travel to support customer meetings, vendor visits, trade shows and other training opportunities

    MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. 2 (two) years of Interior Design School

    2. Intermediate PC Skills using MS Office Products

    3. Excellent organizational and time management skills.

    ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. Good Color Sense
    2. Basic Textile Knowledge
    3. Interior Design Experience
    4. Graphic Software Knowledge such as Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator
