Job Description:

This position is responsible for removing and installing VIP aircraft interior components such as seats, cabinetry, headliner, side panels and carpet and preparing them for new decorative finishes. Reassembling of interior components with new finishes, performing touch-ups as needed and reinstalling them into the aircraft.

Job Requirements:
  • Disassemble interior components in preparation for applying new decorative finish of paint, leather, fabric, wood, etc..
  • Fabricate and/or repair various interior substrates components in accordance with industry standard practices for aluminum and composites.
  • Accurately measure, layout, cut, and apply various materials including carpet.
  • Apply decorative finishes such as; paints, fabrics and leather to interior panels and components.
  • Have a basic understanding of DC electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and follow engineering drawings to perform work scope.
  • Experience in aircraft cabinet disassembly / assembly and adjustments.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening.  
  • Working knowledge of various hand tools and shop equipment (spray guns, sanders, grinders, band saws, drill press, routers).
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Must be motivated with a strong attention to detail and quality.
