Position: Cabin/Interior Technician - Indianapolis, IN
Job Description: Cabin Technicians are under the immediate and direct supervision of the Cabin Lead.
Cabin Technician will perform:
- Remove, replace and/or install aircraft interiors, cabin furnishings and equipment as galleys, lavatories, seats, overhead compartments, panels and carpeting.
- Able to read and understand blueprints, engineering documents, service bulletins, aircraft manuals and catalogs and be able to perform complex cabin reconfigurations
- Must be able to identify interior fasteners and have basic knowledge of tools and installation methods.
- Opens and closes areas on the aircraft which are required to be opened for inspection.
- Work performed must meet FAA and customer standards and comply with all safety procedures at all times.
- Perform such other tasks as may be reasonably assigned by her/his supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- High school education or GED.
- Minimum three (3) years of recent aircraft cabin experience required on commercial aircraft and/or fixed wing military aircraft.
- General mechanical aptitude.
- Able to comprehend and follow instructions.
- Tools are required
- Must be flexible on shifts.
- Must be US Citizen.
