The Company - An American defense company that manufactures rocket, hypersonic and electric propulsive systems for space, defense, civil and commercial applications

The Additive Manufacturing Technician is a dynamic position whose function is to support the 3D printing process for: rapid prototyping, production parts and tooling.
-15 Removing support structures.

-15 Performing secondary finishing operations such as polishing, reaming and straightening.

-15 Prepping machines for operation.

-15 Material change overs.

-15 3D Printer operation and day to day maintenance.

-15 Parts removal and cleanup.

-10 Maintain the schedule for multiple printers and builds.

-Other duties as required to maintain the business continuity.

-Previous Manufacturing Experience is preferred, but not essential.

-Strong work ethic and ability to work in a dynamic environment.

-Basic knowledge and navigation of MSOffice (Excel/Word).

SKILLS:
-Some level of experience working with your hands. Uses some basic tools (Calipers, Micrometers, Height gauges)

-Experience with 3D Metal Printers such as EOS, Phenix/3DS, Concept Laser or SLM.

-Metal finishing techniques.

-CNC machining and CAD/CAM programming.

-Understanding of materials, properties, laser welding.

-Experience with Aerospace and/or Defense industries.

-Self motivated and able to stay on task

Education:
-HS Diploma or GED required
