Buyer Analyst 1
Renton, WA - Kent, WA
Contract Position
Responsibilities:
- Team member of the Technology and Professional Services Team
- Source IT hardware across manufacturing facilities, offices, and operations including: servers, networking, storage, and desktop-related euipment
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration/Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related industry experience
- Level 2 Role – Requires 2+ years of experience
- Strong analytical skills, data driven with experience in establishing and tracking program metrics
- Ensure timely and effective completion of projects and initiatives of the supply chain department
- Must have top notch people and communication skills
- Maintains passion for solving problems from end-to-end
- Track record of working in an ambiguous environment and ability to define processes that can scale
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
- Experience working in a fast-pace & changing environment - Willing to be flexible - Strong communication skills - Team player who enjoys working with people
- Desired Skills
- 0-2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience with purchasing IT Hardware & IT Infrastructure technology
- Experience working in HW procurement in a fast paced environment
- Strong background in Excel, knowledge of RFQ and ordering processes, and experience negotiating with suppliers
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
