2nd Shift 3:00pm-11:30pm Mon-Fri plus 12 Differential

Your Expertise:

  • 3+ years in an aerospace or high precision manufacturing environment
  • Basic shop math, basic mechanical skills, effectively utilize lifting devices,
  • Ability to read and interpret travelers and work instructions, ability to verify log and procedures for accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, good communications skills

Your Challenge:

  • Use test panels to check testing material (penetrant) per customer specifications.
  • Inspect parts using black light and note any defects.
  • Clean and dry parts per specifications if required.
  • Utilize process travelers and instructions to prepare part for Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) as non-destructive means of locating and determining the severity of surface discontinuities in aircraft parts.
  • Perform testing operations following specified procedures outlined in manuals, identifying and marking discontinuities.
  • Support divisional and departmental continuous improvement initiatives.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

This position is a safety sensitive position. Applicant must comply with all applicable FAA and DOT drug and alcohol testing rules.
