Scope of Activities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of 2-4 full time employees.
• Focus on communicating and coordinating between engineering, production, planning, scheduling, and supply chain to ensure schedules are maintained and adhered to
• Anticipates obstacles, performs risk analysis, coordinates risk minimization measures, and manages work changes.
• Instill a sense of urgency among functional counterparts in warehouse, planning, purchasing, stockroom, CIT, engineering, and production.
• Ensures all materials flow through all required departments in a timely manner to meet production demands.
• Develops procedures and methods to ensure that the schedule is met and maintained.
• Works with all production leads, stockroom, and planning on ensuring that all parts are at the required stage and/or area when required, tracks all parts that are short for each aircraft  
• Assists with the writing of NMR’s for production
• Assists with the locating of misplaced or lost paperwork
• Works with purchasing and warehouse/industry manager on tracking shortages, providing need by dates.
• Improves company and employee relations through effective communication, coaching, training, and development.
• Provides leadership for problem resolution to facilitate continuous improvement and improved working relationships.
• Measures performance to company goals and standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by their manager .
• Reads and understands engineering drawings

Profile and other information related to the position

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Prior experience in production, supply chain and/or warehousing activities
• Prior experience using ERP systems and/or Epicor
• Time Management: ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
• Strong customer orientation. Understanding of differences within the production teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong team player with the ability to lead people to meet company goals.
• Commitment to company values and ethics.
