Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Logistics new products readiness officer (f/m) to join our department in charge of new products readiness. This position based in Marignane Les Florides, France, will consist in preparing logistics readiness for successful entry into service of new helicopters or installations.

The main activities of logistics supports is to supply and deliver worldwide spare parts for our Customers & Customer-centers to maintain the Airbus helicopters fleet.

Your challenges:

For New developments of new Aircraft (H160 HIL), or new installations or process developments which need a dedicated entry into service preparation for logistics disciplines, you will be in charge of following responsibilities:

  • To represent Material Support in the Support & Services teams following the project
  • To prepare and coordinate the Material Support activities to ensure successful entry into service of the new helicopter or installation – to provide them the development status, preliminary information and data to be used to prepare Material Support activities  
  • To anticipate risks, propose and follow mitigation plan
  • To provide Material Support & Logistics information to internal Customers requiring them (availability of spares/ tools) /ingredients
  • Your technical knowledge and skills will help to influence design and S&S contributors for Material Support aspects & constraints (have all necessary data on time, Packaging handling, Storage & Transportation, infrastructure, Ground support equipments.....)
  • To prepare, anticipate and coordinate Material Support activities before Entry Into Service (EIS)  
  • To anticipate any potential disruption after EIS
  • To influence conception, development and evolution whenever relevant, so to contribute to design to support competitive improvement.
  • with main deliverables for Matlog being : Initial provisioning list availability, anticipated orders for spares & ground support equipments and supply chain capability

Your profile:

  • Master in Engineering or equivalent (Bac&43; 5)
  • 5 Y experience in Aeronautics and Logistic Support
  • A good technical knowledge in helicopter maintenance and its documentation
  • Material Support knowledge , ASD 2000M knowledge would be a plus
  • be able to structure and manage a project
  • Process oriented
  • be interested and able to use various AH tools : design office repository (core PDM …) SAP, Orion (Maintenance technical documentation),
  • Excellent communication and animation skills to federate various disciplines on a common goal
  • Ability to work in complex organization, positive and open minded-
  • Desire to discover new challenges
  • Considering Team working as a must
