QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• High School Diploma or an equivalent
• Proficient in the English language
• Two or more years of experience operating mills and lathes with the ability to make a bushing with little to no Supervision.
• Some CNC Machine operating experience. (Years of education will be considered.)
• This position is safety sensitive and adheres to DOT drug and alcohol regulations
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Operate manual machines; mills and lathes
• Machine parts within 0.0005” tolerance.
• Fabricate and repair high tolerance bushings
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering plans and other technical data
• Requisite and maintain raw materials and tools
• May be some setup and operation of CNC (HAAS) machine
• Routinely perform preventative maintenance on machines and repair as needed
• Wear proper personal protective equipment as necessary
• Communicate daily with other team members
• May be required to work an occasional weekend or evening shift to meet deadlines
