PRIMARY FUNCTION

Duties include reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules; conferring with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates; and compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

•    Performs functions cataloging, requirements determination, procurement, distribution, overhaul, and disposal of material.
•    Coordinated with NAVAIR, ACC/TYCOM, MALS, and FRC-E with the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). 
•    Duties related to aircraft maintenance, such as preparing reports and correspondence, filing, and typing, performing data base and systems analysis.
•    Provide Material Readiness Status Reporting
•    All current and future reporting required through Navy/Marine Corps systems (e.g. Optimized-Organizational Maintenance Activity (OOMA), Naval Aviation Logistics Data Analysis (NALDA), Naval Air Technical Data and Engineering Services Command (NATEC)
•    Material expediting for urgent priority materiel requirements.
•    Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance support documentation for MV-22 Aircraft
•    Utilize the current management information system(s) to maintain aircraft forms and records as required
•    Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

•    Occupational Specialty or Rating (AK) equivalent in Naval Aviation Supply 
•    Must have knowledge of computerized maintenance programs (OOMA)
•    Utilize the current management information system(s) to maintain aircraft forms and records as required
•    Have or able to obtain a Secret Clearance. 
•    Experience supporting aviation maintenance. Demonstrated knowledge of supply/ logistics policies and procedures. Demonstrated use of technical publications and guidance. 
•    Demonstrated use of equipment logs and records and specific experience in the position assigned
•    Experience with CNAFINST 4790.2 compliance. 
•    Must have the ability to interact effectively with personnel at all organizational levels. 
•    Must be able to work with Microsoft Office products
•    Previous forklift license is a plus.
 
QUALIFICATIONS: 
•    High School Diploma or equivalent
•    U.S. Navy Aviation Supply (AK) “A” School or three (3) years relevant military experience
•    Must be able to adjust the schedule if needed
•    Must be eligible for Common Access Card (CAC)
•   Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance
