STS Technical Services is a leading staffing firm dedicated to connecting skilled professionals with top companies in various industries. We are currently seeking a Non-Conforming Material Specialist for the night shift to join our client’s team in York, Pennsylvania. Position Summary The Non-Conforming Material Specialist will handle a blend of hands-on activities and computer-based transactions to process and close non-conformance records. This role requires effective communication skills to explain non-conforming defects on-site and via email. Job Responsibilities

Review materials and parts to identify non-conforming materials.
Perform associated functions in SAP to process non-conformance records.
Analyze suspect conditions against engineering drawings and utilize quality tools.
Manage inventory levels daily and perform systematic transactions in SAP.
Communicate with suppliers regarding non-conformance and create purchase orders.
Participate in mandatory cross-shift meetings on Tuesdays at 5:40 AM.

Required Qualifications

3-6 months of experience with SAP or relative ERP systems (preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
Previous quality experience preferred.
Logistics or inventory management experience preferred.
Ability to read engineering prints is a plus.
Safety toe shoes required; safety vest and glasses provided.

Work Schedule

Night shift: Monday through Thursday, 6:45 PM to 5:15 AM.
Mandatory cross-shift meeting on Tuesdays at 5:40 AM.
