ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a plating operator for an exciting aerospace company in Kent, WA. This would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in plating to further their career with a great company.
Perform Cadmium, Copper, Zinc/Nickel plating, and Post Chromate coatings per specifications.
Gather supplies, rack, clean production parts, and maintain racking implements.
Conduct receiving inspections, measure part surfaces, and report discrepancies.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety policies.
Collaborate with leadership to prioritize tasks, complete documentation, and keep the work area organized.
Study production schedules, adjust work procedures, and requisition necessary materials.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent
3+ years of experience with Cadmium, Copper, and Zinc/Nickel plating for aerospace parts according to specifications.
Ability to perform Passivation processes and demonstrate racking and plating techniques for complete coverage.
Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 35 lbs.
