Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

Supervises and controls the implementation of processes regarding spare parts sales, material programs, and warranty management activities, which include functions such as material logistics, transportation, inventory control and planning, repair, billing and payment of services, technical evaluation and analysis.

    JOB RESPONSIBLITIES

    • Responsible for supervising and coordinating the Warehouse Inbound, Quality Department and Quarantine Area, Inventory Reports and Adjustments, Outbound Reports, performance, backlogs and complaints.
    • Responsible for supervising and maintaining every day the SQDC meeting with my team, providing new information, procedures and daily tasks, daily charts, maintaining organization, discipline and union between all areas.
    • Manage interfaces between different Embraer departments and third-party logistic provider.
    • Responsible for coordinating the preparation and execution of Quality audits performed by internal and external entities; Perform necessary analyses, process reviews, and propose/implement improvements to maintain certifications;
    • Responsible for supervising and coordinating the implementation of corrective actions to resolve process problems (parts defects or documentation problems not caught in the inbound or outbound inspections);
    • Responsible for providing any requested information or quality related documentation requested by customer in advance or after the delivery of part;
    • Maintain the quality of parts in stock and its airworthiness;
    • Analysis and/or closing of non-conformities reports open during the receiving and storage processes in ESL.
    • Coordinate with planning department requests and shipping parts allocated in ESL for upgrade and rework.
    • Communicate with members in the department and other Embraer sites on technical issues and stock re-inspection in case of quality escapes;
    • Ensures that repair services received are adequately inspected and controlled.
    • Supervise cross-checking of perishable information between the system and the item under inspection and organization of quality documents.
    • Supervise quality receiving processes making sure that all approved parts are available for orders.
    • Guarantee that all part shipped to customers and on-site stock are properly certified as NEW (activity done by the DQI or by the Repair Station (in case of Repaired or Used parts)
    • Generate and manages the daily, weekly, monthly and Y.T.D. reports pertaining to the inventory count status and regular inventory.
    • Responsible and manages all records and documentation relating to the inventory process for review by both the internal and external auditors.

    • Follows up on development of technical analysis and investigations related to damaged parts, compliance issues, or any other material discrepancies.
    • Communicates company policies, and procedures to the employees.
    • Coordinates training requirements with management.
    • Skilled in approving/rejecting PR’s and FR’s on SAP
    • Proficient in budget control and financial management
    • Experienced in implementing 5S control methods for efficiency
    • Demonstrated ability to manage and purchase office supplies effectively
    • Manage Quality Tools Instruments and calibration, following ANAC - Quality Corporate procedures and requirements

    ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    • High School Diploma/Technical Degree
    • Preferred college degree in Business Administration or related field.

    Experience:

    • Generally 2-4 years of experience in People Management.
    • 3 years or more experience in operational, technical, and administrative management activities and/or processes related to aircraft material handling.
    • Previously lead and/or directly supervicsed at least a small group of employees.

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Comprehension and understanding of broad practices associated within the Project/Program Management Fields.
    • Applies these understandings towards the complete management and execution of all Project/Program Life Cycle
    • Knowledge of FAA regulations & safety protocols, knowledge of use of hand tools and precision instruments;
    • Ability to effectively manage and lead others.
    • Able to work at a rapid pace while ensuring safety and quality work.
    • Ability to inspect aircraft systems, parts/components.
    • Strong Microsoft office skills.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Effective communicator with strong communication skills
    • Ability to interpret and comprehend panel chart.
    • Comprehension and understanding of tech data and aircraft drawings to locate part numbers and assist in accomplishing repairs.
    • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
    • Knowledge of SAP System

    Working Conditions/Environment/Special Requirements

    • Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, State and Federal regulations.
    • Employees will be subject to the random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations
    • Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts if required.
    • Sitting for extended periods of time.
    • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and to handle other computer components.
    • Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.
    • Some travel will be required.
