What are your contributions to the team?
• Establish and maintain relationship with strategic suppliers located worldwide from a commercial and contractual standpoint
• Represent Procurement with the various integrated product development team
• Track changes through the management process up to the point of implementation
• Lead negotiations of complex contractual terms and conditions resulting from product ranges, with external suppliers
• Draft contractual agreements in close collaboration with the legal team
• Prepare business cases and present to procurement management and other stakeholders for approval
• Support Business Units in the application of contractual remedies against material breaches
• Coordinate and lead negotiations of any claims with suppliers in support of business unit production issues.
• Ensure that correct project tracking and visibility are provided by suppliers for Procurement and other business unit functions
• Support, where applicable, the Procurement commodity team in establishing sourcing strategies for the development programs and draft commercial agreements with the suppliers.
How to thrive in this role?
• You hold a Bachelors degree in Business or equivalent
• You have four (4) to seven (7) years of experience in the aerospace industry
• You possess experience in contract negotiations with suppliers
• You have experience on development programs (an asset)
• You possess technical knowledge (an asset)
• You have advanced analytical skills
• You possess strong communication skills
