Lockheed Martin Space in King of Prussia, PA is seeking a Summer 2024 Supply Chain intern. As a Supply Chain intern, you will support the supply chain team in developing sources, obtaining competitive prices, and optimizing delivery schedules. You will support the Subcontracts team in working with suppliers on existing and future purchase orders, analyzing data from the procurement system, providing management reports, and assisting in tasks related to ad-hoc requests. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Government Contracting and FAR regulations, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must be a US Citizen; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
- Actively enrolled in a Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or another related degree program from an accredited college/university.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.

- Work or classroom experience with the following: Government Contracting and FAR regulations
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and multi-task assignments.
- Work or classroom experience with general business acumen
- Quick learner
- Work or classroom experience with working with suppliers
- Oral and written communication skills
- Exposure to enterprise software such as SAP
- Ability to establish priorities and multitask

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
