Amentum is currently seeking a Supply Technician for our Lemoore, California location.
This position performs limited aspects of technical supply management work such as technical research, data entry, supply management operations, inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property accountability related to depot level supply activites. This position also requires the use of forklifts and the performance of shipping and receiving functions.
The Supply Technician requires a good working knowledge of government supply systems, programs, policies, technical manuals, or other established guidelines and an understanding of the needs of the organization services; as well as an analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension and scope of the challenges involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend appropriate action based upon an application or interpretation of established guidelines.
The successful candidate will also perform all others collateral duties as may be assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
Must have 5 years of aircraft supply equipment assets management experience to the level of effort and complexity of the requirements in the SOW.
Must be a graduate of a school equivalent to Navy A and/or C school or civilian experience/training.
Must have demonstrated maintenance knowledge, experience, and working level skills/ability in: Navy aviation supply systems, procedures, reports and forms; NALCOMIS and VIDS/MAFs entry and completion; and IMRL Program.
Must be able to meet physical requirements associated with and/or pass any medical examination requirements related to performing daily assigned tasks.
Daily tasks require standing, climbing, bending and stooping. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance for issuance of a Common Access Card (CAC)
Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer 4 years Military Supply Administration experience or equivilant.
