Qualifications and Experience:
· Experience in electronics, engineering and flight simulation is a plus.
· Technical school graduate (Professional training) or military service school in electronics, electronics or mechatronic.
· Fluency in English – read, speak, write. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
· Understand electronics, motion, and visual systems associated with the training system.
· Experience working within a real time computing environment and the ability to identify, diagnose and correct complex technical issues with the training system.
· Familiarity with general hand tools; general electronics test equipment (meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.); diagnostic equipment (hardware); diagnostic software; electrical and pneumatic power tools and ability to solder wires and components.
· Must be able to utilize test and support equipment associated with the maintenance, troubleshooting and testing of the simulator system.
· Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, simulator software and technical documentation; and ability to evaluate, isolate and repair malfunctions.
· Familiarized working within a PLC’s is a plus
· Familiarized on Linux/Unix systems and “C” language is desired.
· Familiarized on Linux/Unix systems.
· Familiarized on Computer Networks.
· Good oral and written communications skills.
· Ability to work with minimal supervision.
· Commitment to team work
