Mechanic Needed in Paradise!

Do you want to live and work in Paradise? Then join our team at Paradise Helicopters in Kailua-Kona or Hilo, Hawai’i! We are looking for an FAA Certified A&P Mechanic to perform maintenance on our Bell 407, 429, and 430 or MD 500 aircraft. Additional duties may include general facilities maintenance, vehicle maintenance, and other maintenance related tasks as delegated by the Lead Mechanic or Director of Maintenance.

This full-time, permanent position offers a full benefits package with 401k, negotiable relocation assistance, and a generous housing stipend to assist with your transition to Paradise! Our salary range is $38-$50/hour depending on your experience level.

Our ideal candidate will be able to work well independently or in a team environment, possess a valid Airframe & Powerplant Certificate; have two years of rotorcraft experience (Bell 407, 429, and 430 or MD 500 aircraft experience a plus); have the ability to read and comprehend manufacturer's publications; have basic computer skills; possess a full set of basic standard SAE mechanics hand tools; and be able to perform sheet metal repairs, electrical troubleshooting and corrections, drivetrain and powerplant fault isolation, corrections, repairs, component replacements, rotor dynamic smoothing and balancing, scheduled and unscheduled inspections, corrosion control, aircraft cleaning and general upkeep.
