Maintain, Inspect, Repair, Modify, Overhaul, and Troubleshoot Aircraft systems on commercial aircraft in compliance with Aircraft maintenance manuals, policies, procedures, and customer requirements. General Airframe and Powerplant system knowledge. Structure abilities desired but not required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must have the minimum tools as required.
- Must have 2+ years of understanding of aircraft structures.
- Must have 2+ years of understanding of aircraft systems.
- Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
- Must be willing to work any shift.
- Must be available to work overtime (as requested).
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Knowledge of all areas of the aircraft and assigned work area.
- Repair, modify, replace, or otherwise perform routine and non-routine aircraft maintenance work in specialized areas of aircraft.
- Develop repair schemes utilizing SRM or Engineering data.
- Communicate effectively with other maintenance personnel at all levels by keeping co-workers and leadership apprised of work progress and difficulties as they arise.
- Complete job assignments in a timely manner.
- Complete on-the-job training (OJT) forms and required reading.
- Read and interpret manufacturer and airline maintenance manuals, service bulletins, drawings and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repair, replacement or modification.
- Having a Passport is a plus.
- Extensive travel.
License/Certification:
