- Reports to the Director of Maintenance
- Must be readily available day or night as the need arises for the company's demanding schedule
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally if the need arises
- Must pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen
- Must possess own toolbox with general mechanic tools
- Must clearly document maintenance and repair actions, equipment status tags, logs, parts requests, etc. clearly on paper or in an electronic system
- Must be able to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, technical manuals, written instructions, test procedures, etc
- Must be self-motivated and able to manage time as required to effectively achieve specified maintenance response goals
- Must be able to effectively communicate the status of aircraft to the team as required
- Must execute work duties assigned by the Director of Maintenance
- Hourly rate based on experience
- Must have a current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate
- Be able to work independently, on call, nights, and weekends as this is a 24/7 operation
- Must remain able to pass FAA-required drug and alcohol tests
- Must possess and retain a valid Drivers’ License
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and have the agility to climb into small spaces in aircraft
- Have the means to get and maintain a valid passport
- Lear experience preferred
