Aerotek on behalf of its client, is seeking entry level A&P Mechanics. This is an entry level role ideal for candidates pursuing their Airframe & Powerplant license or recently acquired their A&P license - only A&P aviation candidates will be considered. Relocation assist available. Pay starts $24-29/hour DOE.
- A&P Mechanic responsible for maintenance of GA aircraft. Working in a service center environment, attached to the aircraft OEM facility.
- Responsibilities: Performance annual inspections, replacing transponders, installing modifications, repairing AOG issues to include mechanical, avionics, and powerplant, and other duties associated with maintenance of the aircraft.
- This is a full-time, long-term role for a flourishing OEM and Service Center company, with 7 models and over 1000 aircraft in service around the world.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Aircraft Maintenance experience (may include school)
- A&P license
Work Environment
- Client is a growing aircraft manufacturer with over 200 employee and 1000+ aircraft delivered and operating around the world.
- Very clean shop and production areas; this is not an "aircraft ops" area so minimal fuel, dirt, oil, etc. These aircraft are essentially very expensive luxury vehicles for high-end customers and the workspace reflects that.
- Day shift Monday thru Friday. Minimal OT although it depends on projects/delivery deadlines.
