Job Description:

We are looking for an A&P mechanic to join our Just Jets family at our Orlando facilities. We are offering a relocation allowance for this role: Reimbursed up to $2,500. Primary reporting site is located in Orlando, FL at MCO, with potential reporting to our ORL satellite office. This position requires a FAA A&P license (IA is a plus). Qualified candidates will have five or more years of experience providing inspection and repair work on a variety of corporate jets. Ideal candidates have experience on one or more of the following aircraft: Challenger, Falcon, Gulfstream, Hawker, King Air, Legacy, and Pilatus.

Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check. A valid US driver’s license in good standing is required. All employees are subject to a FAA drug test program.

We are looking to fill one position for a eight-hour shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM, with on-call availability outside of normal shift hours for AOG aircraft on your work days. Most callouts are paid to mechanics as a four-hour minimum, at time and a half pay.

Job Requirements:
  • Applicant must have their own tools
  • Applicant should be motivated and able to prioritize to complete requested workscopes efficiently in order to meet delivery times, including communicating requirements for necessary technicians on the aircraft to ensure timely delivery. Technicians work alongside our parts manager to bid and coordinate parts purchasing for aircraft and along with the FBO to schedule aircraft movement/towing as required.
  • Technicians ensure the safety of the aircraft while in maintenance and upon delivery, following a pre-work and post-work checklist for assigned aircraft.
  • Applicant must be able to read, write, and analyze/interpret in English, with math and reasoning skills. Computer skills are required in: Word; Excel; CAMP and other maintenance tracking systems; DEEC/FMS download software; and aircraft manual software. Technicians are required to close work orders and assure paperwork is completed in a timely manner for aircraft release from maintenance.
  • Applicant must have good communication skills and follow through. Technicians are responsible for keeping customers up-to-date on workscope completion, for obtaining approvals for repairs found in maintenance, and for keeping customers appraised of progress throughout the workscope timeline.
  • Applicant should be organized, self-starting, and able to work independently, as well as part of a team.
Salary Range: $30 Per Hour-$55 Per Hour
Relocation: Reimbursed up to $2,500
Travel: Travel can be required for AOG
