Tulip City Air Repair is a successful Aircraft Maintenance facility. We have extensive experience working on a variety of Aircraft specializing in All Single and Twin Engine Piston Aircraft.  With over 100 years of combined experience, our mechanics are FAA-certified, A&P, and IA with dedicated to the highest level of service and safety.

Tulip City Air Repair is looking to add a 1st shift Aircraft Technician to our growing team. Piston aircraft experience is required. We offer growth opportunities in a climate-controlled facility. Qualified employees have employee ownership opportunities. Our facility has recently been renovated and updated with technology to offer our workforce the ability to service Aircraft efficiently and safely. We are located in Holland MI, KBIV.

Technical Related Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experienced (5 plus years) A&P/IA Aircraft Maintenance Technician.
  • Inspect, test, maintain, and service aircraft to determine airworthiness of aircraft and components, in accordance with established procedures and FARs.
  • Possesses skills and knowledge to correctly perform maintenance and repairs on nearly all systems of landing gear, hydraulic systems, fuel systems, electrical systems, flight controls, etc.
  • Properly record the work performed on the appropriate maintenance record using EBIS, IA Approach, and Veryon.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area.
  • Work with other team members to deliver quality and timely aircraft repairs.
  • Comply with FAA Required Random Drug Screening Program.
Job Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Must read, speak, write, and understand English
  • FAA A&P valid certification
  • FAA IA valid certification preferred
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Prefer to own a set of mechanic tools
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
  • Pick up a 75 lb object from the floor, carry it 100 feet, and place the object back on the floor
  • Stand, sit, squat, kneel, lie on your stomach, lie on your back, and tolerate small, enclosed spaces for at least 10 minutes at a time.
  • Available to work overtime as necessary
  • Climb and descend a ladder
