A&P Mechanic - Moses Lake, WA (Per diem Available)
Location: Oil-Spill Response Base Hangar
Job Type: Full-Time, Contract-to-Hire
Description: We are seeking a dedicated A&P Mechanic to join our team, responsible for the maintenance of 737 aircraft at our oil-spill response base hangar. This role involves performing preventative maintenance, ordering parts, and staying current with training and manuals. In the event of an activation, you must be prepared to travel with the aircraft to either coast. Note that it has been 11 years since the last activation. Mechanics take turns being on-call each week during evenings (5pm - 8pm) on weekdays and all day on weekends, though calls are very rare. Overtime is also rare. This position is ideal for someone looking for a stable career in aviation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on 737 aircraft
- Order and manage parts inventory
- Stay up-to-date with training and maintenance manuals
- Travel with aircraft as needed for activations
- Participate in on-call rotation (evenings and weekends)
Required Skills:
- A&P License

Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of hangar or line maintenance experience on regional or narrow/widebody aircraft
- Experience with Boeing models, particularly in line or heavy maintenance
Experience Level:
Pay:
Local pay: $32 - $36/hr
Non-local pay: $32.5 - $34.5/hr, + 140/day per diem ($50 to $52 total compensation)
