Position Summary
MAG Aerospace is currently bidding on a Security Assistance Training Management Organization (SATMO) program and contingently hiring for an AH 64E Senior Aviation Maintenance Advisor (SAMA) (15R) (this is a Ground Maintenance Position) who will reinforce India’s defense / threat capabilities concerning their recent purchase of AH-64Ev6 Apache Attack Helicopters.
Operations will be conducted at the Apache Unit at Jodhpur Army Base, state of Rajasthan, India.
Execution of training - between 15 January 2024 (tentative) to 14 January 2025
One option year of performance from 15 January 2025 to 14 January 2026.
SATMO Will Require All Personnel to Prove Their Qualifications with a Submittal of a DD214 and Coordinating Certificates
This is a full-time position with full benefits.
Rotations are flexible and can be accommodated in coordination with the training schedule.
All living expenses - flights, cars, housing will be paid for by MAG
Signature of a Letter of Intent will be required and you will 100 be provided the first right of refusal to accept this position if MAG is awarded the contract.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Conduct aviation management and coordination of maintenance efforts
- within the AH-64E company and will focus on the skills of a U.S. Army 15R
- AH-64E Attack Helicopter Repairer.
- Train the management of the maintenance flow chart, aircraft bank hour tracker, scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance, parts ordering and production control and quality control operations.
- May be designated to perform Technical Inspector duties.
- Train personnel on Aircrew Life Support Equipment (ALSE)
- Assist with establishing/maintaining a program to provide routine and historical maintenance documents for all AGE/GSE (MFAGE).
- Assist in monitoring, collecting, and submitting lubricants samples IAW the Army’s Oil Analysis.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Served in US Military
- Must have at least ten (15) years of experience performing or supervising helicopter maintenance
- Must have at least seven (7) years of experience performing or supervising AH-64D or AH-64E maintenance requiring the skills of a 15R/15Z.
- Must have five (5) years of previous experience as an AH-64D or AH- 64E Technical Inspector or Quality Control Officer.
- Must have AH-64 unit Production Control and Quality Control experience.
- Must be capable of providing expert-level technical mentorship to IA AH-64E Squadron Senior Leaders, Engineering Officers, and Senior Maintenance Technicians.
Certifications / Ratings:
- Qualified as a school trained U.S. Army AH-64E Aircraft Repairer (MOS 15R)
Other Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizen
- Must possess or be capable of obtaining a U.S. Passport.
- Must possess or be capable of obtaining an India Visa.
- Must provide proof of the following:
- Military Service, (DD Form 214)
- Position related certifications
