Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

 

Performs licensed A&P Mechanic work assembling, disassembling and/or modifying aircraft components by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading aerospace vehicle sub-components, consumables, and expendables to correct failures or implement upgrades or modifications.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Follows technical data, company procedures, and established industry processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications, and inspection results).

  • Performs validation and verification testing of components.

  • Troubleshoots complex mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to isolate mechanical or other faults and repairs faulty components.

  • The ability to work with structural and composite components a plus.

  • Has the ability to operate shop equipment to disassemble, troubleshoot, inspect, and repair aircraft components and assemblies.

  • Support the configuration of aircraft components and bench test equipment as required.

  • Assists more experienced employees to understand problems; develops and sustains productive customer relationships.

Job Requirements:

EDUCATION:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • A&P License is required.


EXPERIENCE:


  • Experience on mechanical repair of vehicles, preferably aircraft- through technical training, apprenticeship, schooling, or similar experience preferred

  • Requires 3years’ experience

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport security badge through the local airport authority, if applicable.
