Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Able to perform close tolerance drilling, reaming, removal, and installation to critical support structures.
- Must be efficient in the use and application of tools, gauges, instruments, etc. necessary for the accomplishment of duties assigned.
- Must have an understanding and working knowledge of hazardous material handling and disposal as related to the job assignment.
- Must have minimum required sheet metal tools.
- Be able to read blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and Maintenance Manuals in performance of assigned duties.
- Performs touch up painting as needed (within task area).
- Keep a clean & orderly work environment.
Education and Experience:
- High school education or G.E.D. preferred.
- Two years’ aircraft sheet metal experience.
- May or may not have an A&P license
Physical Requirement:
- Exposed to high levels of noise, dust, and environmental temperature.
- Able to lift fifty (50) pounds without mechanical assistance.
- Able to bend, twist, squat, and lift.
