Aircraft Electrical Assembler

North Charleston, SC

Contract Position

$25.10-$26.42/Hour

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual operations.
  • Fiber optic clean and inspection, light loss testing and installation.
  • Bond & Ground including CRNs, jumpers, ground stud installation & resistance testing.
  • Verify installations of assemblies by team members as an “MFPP” Quality delegated MT.
  • Inspect to ensure First Pass Quality (FPQ) is attained per engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Verify and ensure FAA compliance with Quality Management System.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the contractor will be prepared with proper documentation to validate US Person Status and fulfill the requirements of the U.S. ECCVF.
  • Ensure your teams are discussing the below requirements with candidates and confirming that they have a valid document for badging.
  • Routie of wire harness to supports per blueprint instruction & Boeing specifications for the 787program.
  • Build connectors, splicing wires, crimping, and terminating wires.
  • Install connectors to receptacles and electronic components.
  • Perform repairs, rework processes to incorporate authorized changes outlined by engineeringinstructions.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED combined with 1+ year of relevant work experience.
  • Experienced in wire routing.
  • Experienced in wire dressing.
  • Experienced in wire hook ups.
  • Experienced in wire resistance/continuity checks.
  • Experienced in basic rework (basic wire repair).
  • Must have a minimum 1 year of relevant electrical manufacturing and/or aviation experience.
  • Experience understanding and interpreting detailed written and verbal work instructions and processes.
