The Leonardo DRS Naval Electronics business provides leading naval computing infrastructure, network and data distribution and middleware enterprise services, as well as world-class manufacturing and support capabilities.
Job Summary
Perform entry-level assembly functions, which may include: prep, printed circuit board sub-assemblies, spray application, and inspection, typically working from models and/or drawings, within our Johnstown CCA dept.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible and accountable for producing quality work to prescribed standards, with a focus on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget
- Follow written work instructions must maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures including those which govern the handling of materials, chemicals, tools, and equipment (WHMIS)
- Properly use required PPE
- May participate in LEAN Events, “Six S” activities, action teams etc.
- Perform simple assemblies and have basic understanding of build documentation.
- Verify tooling, use torque tools and have the ability to interpret & assemble products in the CCA dept.
- Basic troubleshooting
- Must be able to access production tools (routers, parts list, work instructions, etc.)
