OnsiteCollins Aerospace is hiring for an experienced Autoclave & Facilities Maintenance Technician to work at our Engineered Polymer Products (EPP) division, located in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a 1st shift position Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. The primary maintenance focus will be on the monitoring of autoclave cures.

What You Will Do - Primary Responsibilities:
- Performs inspections, preventative maintenance troubleshooting, repair and install on manufacturing and facility equipment including controls and instrumentation, to include autoclaves.
- Willing to work overtime as necessary including call-in schedule for critical equipment breakdowns.
- Performs other facility install and repair tasks as assigned.
- Produces a quality product with little/no rework, scrap or customer returns. Strictly adheres to proper procedures (e.g. prints, work instructions).
- Supports and participates in work/process improvements.
- Follows established environmental, health and safety procedures, including proper disposal of wastes (chemical and non-chemical), use of emission controls, (i.e., spray booth filters) and operation of environmental-control equipment.
- Uses/wears proper safety equipment (i.e., safety glasses, shoes, hoists and other lifting or moving equipment).
- Maintains housekeeping in work area.
- Brings environmental, health and safety issues, unsafe acts, and safety improvement suggestions to managements attention or corrects as appropriate.
- Promptly reports accidents or injuries to management and EH&S team.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements.
- HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. OR In the absence of a HS diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required.
- Two years of prior work experience in manufacturing, assembly and/or construction/facilities occupations.
- Two years experience with hand/power tools and tape measure.
- Two years experience with aerial & scissor lifts, pallet jacks, walk-behinds, stackers and/or forklifts.
- Must be able to pass a PIV (Powered Industrial Vehicle) medical examination as required.
- Must be able to Individually lift and carry items that weigh up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to work in standing, kneeling, bending, climbing and/or crawling positions up to a minimum of 8 hours per day.
Preferred Qualifications We Value:
- Experience with autoclaves is highly desirable.
- Experience with Continuous Improvements Tools-Lean, Six Sigma, ACE or CORE.
Our Working Environment:
- Work assignments require moderate to strenuous effort.
- Workers must climb, bend, stoop, crawl, and stand for prolonged periods on concrete or metal surfaces.
- Occasionally, may lift and carry items that weigh up to 16 kilograms (35 pounds) and use mechanical lifting devices or assistance from other workers, where required.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 83,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
