Job Title: VC-25B Structures Mechanic

Pay Rate: $35-$40/hour (or $50-$55/hour for per diem candidates)

Aerotek is seeking experienced Aircraft Structures Mechanics for a major aerospace client in San Antonio, TX. As a member of the team, youll help maintain, repair, and modify aircraft structures and components. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Repair and modification of aircraft structures and structural components, including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.
• Use of technical expertise to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions by interpreting blueprints, manufacturers manuals, and technical documentation.
• Application of comprehensive technical knowledge to solve moderate to complex problems related to airframe and power plant systems.
• Extensive experience with sheet metal and structural modifications.
• Proficient in using specialized aircraft tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, and sheet metal brakes/shears.
• Prioritize and manage workload to meet project deadlines and support mission requirements.

• 4+ years of experience as an Aircraft Structures Mechanic.
• Ability to work any shift, including weekends and holidays, with potential for scheduled and unscheduled overtime based on mission needs.
• High school diploma or GED with 3+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

• FAA A&P License or Military Technical School equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and experience with aircraft systems.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications.

• Long-term contract with the potential for direct hire.
• $10,000 assignment completion bonus (contingent on completing training, obtaining PL1 access, and 12 months on the program).
