This summary provides a listing of the knowledge, skills, and abilities that are critical components of the position of C.A.S.E. Level III ACS Auditor.

General

This is a full-time position that will report to the Director of Quality Assurance / Chief Inspector; and interact with the company’s Flight Mechanics, other Quality auditors, Director of Maintenance, and Vice President of Maintenance and Engineering. Responsible for maintaining compliance with Eastern Airlines D090 Operations Specification.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participates in the Company's Safety Management System (SMS) in accordance with the responsibilities detailed in the Company’s Safety Manual
  • Maintains Eastern Airlines membership (D42) in the C.A.S.E. Organization in Good Standing.
  • Active participation in C.A.S.E. Spring and Fall meetings.
  • Performs audits on behalf of the C.A.S.E Organization
  • Maintains audit records both for C.A.S.E. audits and company audits
  • Performs external and internal quality audits to maintain compliance with 14 CFR 121.373 and the company GMM as directed by the Director of Quality
  • Maintains the Eastern Airlines Technical Operation MPL to maintain compliance with 14 CFR 121.368
  • Contributes and participates in the monthly CASS meetings
  • May be trained to perform audits in Aircraft Deice/Anti-icing and Aviation Jet Fuel Suppliers
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Quality Assurance, or Vice President of Maintenance and Engineering.
Job Requirements:
  • A current Part 65 Mechanic Certificate with an Airframe and Power Plant rating
  • Must be an active C.A.S.E. Level III ACS (1A Standard) auditor (will entertain previous C.A.S.E Level III ACS (1A Standard) auditors with documentation)
  • Ability to travel foreign and domestic
  • Pass a two (2) year drug and alcohol background check, pre-employment drug test, and criminal history records check (CHRC)
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
