Summary/Objective
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IA & A&P Certified Aircraft Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with smaller aircraft and possess both IA (Inspection Authorization) and A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) certifications. Additionally, management experience is preferred as the will require you to oversee day to day operations of the shop.
Essential Functions
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections on smaller aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer's specifications.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure aircraft safety and airworthiness.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and structural issues on aircraft systems and components.
- Complete necessary documentation and maintenance records accurately and in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with other maintenance personnel and departments to ensure efficient workflow and aircraft availability.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior mechanics and apprentices.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Stay current with advances in aircraft technology, regulations, and industry best practices.
