As the Lead/Supervisor Technician, you will play a crucial role in SC Aviation’s safety and maintenance operations. Your responsibilities will include performing routine maintenance, as well as basic troubleshooting and repairs, to minimize schedule disruptions for all SC Aviation-managed aircraft while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

You’ll work on our fleet which includes Hawker 800XPs, Falcon 2000s, and Falcon 900s. You’ll also be responsible for:

  • Demonstrating technical expertise
  • Independently performing scheduled inspections
  • Ensuring that all aircraft are safe for flight before scheduled flights begin departure
  • Performing required operational checks as required for SCA operations
  • Procuring parts from external vendors
  • Providing daily maintenance work, aircraft status, and time records
  • Communicating with flight crews regarding aircraft status
  • Training Junior Aircraft Mechanics as needed
Job Requirements:

We need an experienced Aircraft Mechanic who’s comfortable working both single-handedly and in a team environment on aircraft. This position will typically work Monday thru Friday, 2pm – 10pm.

In addition to a high attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to effectively work with minimal supervision, we are looking for:
• FAA A&P Mechanics License
• 2+ years’ aviation maintenance experience
• A solid knowledge and demonstrated experience maintaining aircraft for continued safe operations
• Strong mechanical aptitude for inspecting equipment, identifying issues, and performing minor repairs
• A proven record of effectively communicating with supervisors, line service, parts, pilots, and dispatch
• Supervisory or leadership experience
• A working knowledge and use of MS Office and Windows applications, especially Excel for communicating and reporting
• Experience with Hawker or Falcon aircraft is highly preferred
