EPC Aerospace Aircraft Maintenance Services is seeking a Lead Technician to support and oversee maintenance operations on regional aircraft, including CRJ and ERJ platforms.
This role is a working lead position, responsible for both performing maintenance and providing day-to-day direction to a small team of technicians. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise along with the ability to coordinate work, maintain quality standards, and ensure efficient execution in a fast-paced MRO environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily maintenance activities within assigned discipline (mechanics, avionics, or structures).
- Perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on transport-category regional aircraft.
- Assign tasks and monitor progress to ensure schedule adherence.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with approved maintenance data and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a primary liaison between technicians, inspectors, and management.
- Assist in resolving technical issues and supporting troubleshooting efforts.
- Ensure proper documentation of all maintenance activities.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and accountability.
- Support training and development of junior technicians.
Work Environment
- Shift: Day and 2nd Shift
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including occasional weekends or extended shifts.
- Work performed in aircraft hangar and ramp settings.
- Must be able to access confined spaces and work at heights when necessary.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces or at heights.
